Mt. Horeb Prayer Mountain
A place set apart for prayer, encounter and renewal.
Two Rivers • 2.5 acres • Sanctuary and dormitories under construction
The Name and the Calling
Inspired by the biblical Mt. Horeb — the mountain of God.
The name Mt. Horeb is inspired by the Bible, where Horeb is called the mountain of God. It speaks of encounter, surrender, calling, obedience and divine instruction.
“And he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.” Exodus 3:1
We believe Mt. Horeb Prayer Mountain in Kitale will be a powerful experience for all people who come to pray: a place of silence before God, spiritual refreshing, worship, intercession, healing, direction and renewed fire.

Sanctuary space at the Prayer Mountain.
What We See by Faith
Today we see construction. By faith, we see a regional altar of prayer.
Sanctuary
A place for worship, Word teaching, intercession, retreats and prayer meetings.
Dormitories
Accommodation for people coming to seek God in prayer, fasting, worship and retreat.
Prayer Trails
Quiet spaces where people can walk, pray, reflect and listen to God.
Prayer Gazebos
Set-apart areas for individual, family and small-group prayer.
Gardens
Peaceful surroundings for meditation, counsel, rest and renewal in God’s presence.
Future Expansion
With the help of God, we trust for more land and future development of a school and hospital.
The Water Project
Safe water for the mountain and the community.
The current water source is an old-school well with unreliable and unsafe water. We are trusting God for a fully functional borehole system with pumps, power, storage, distribution and a water kiosk.
“I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys…” — Isaiah 41:18
Borehole, pump, power, storage, distribution, treatment and water kiosk. Full budget details are available to serious partners upon request.
